Re-ward Club: Rewarding you for not buying new

Re-ward Club momentum is rolling with Action Bikes

Re-ward Club moved up a gear last week as yet another retailer signed up to the scheme that Re-wards you for not buying new!

Action Bikes, who have shops in Whitton and Sheen as well as a number of other locations across South London, have signed up to the Re-ward Club. They are thrilled at not only promoting their services to those in Re-ward Club, but also at the prospect of being part of the scheme which encourages members to support their own ideals of re-use, repair and re-cycling.

Members of Re-ward Club are now able to collect Re-ward Tokens at Action Bikes when they get their bike repaired, hire bikes and buy second-hand refurbished children’s bikes. You can also spend your Re-ward Vouchers on a fabulous range of products and services available in-store!

Action Bikes would also like to invite all members of the Re-ward Club to the cycle-powered Outdoor Cinema, in the grounds of St Philip & St James Church in Whitton on Friday 31st Aug at 7pm. Ticket prices start from £7.30. The classic 1960’s version of The Italian Job will be powered by 12 cyclists hooked up to the giant screen, you can help generate the power too, bring your bike or use one of the 12 provided.

Whilst you watch you can feast under the stars on the food and drinks available from the licensed Bar on site, please bring along your own chair or blanket to sit on. In the event of bad weather the film will be shown inside the Church.

Money raised from the event will go to Re~Cycle, a charity committed to providing cheap sustainable transport in Africa enabling medical care to reach further afield areas quicker and easier. The charity has so far shipped over 41,000 bikes to Africa, transforming as many lives in the process. The humble bicycle can make a massive difference when the only other option is to walk.
