Who they are…

The Mulberry Centre, located in the grounds of the West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth, is a drop-in support charity for anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer. The Centre specifically provides emotional and practical support for those either recently diagnosed within the past 2 years, the primary carer of the  patient, or someone recently bereaved through cancer.

What they do…

The Mulberry Centre works with men and women of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities regardless of their postcode or area, however the majority of visitors are from local boroughs. The services that are provided include –

  • Counselling
  • Support Groups
  • Complementary Therapies: Reflexology, Massage, Aromatherapy or Shiatsu
  • Relaxation Therapies: Meditation, Yoga, or T’ai Chi
  • Welfare Rights and Money Advice

How donations are going to be used…

The donations from Reward Club members will go towards supporting their activities e.g. providing refreshments for support groups, supplying information on treatments or helping to provide guidance about financial worries relating to cancer and its treatment.
